U.S. Deaths from Coronavirus up to 9, as Cases Pass 100

In the U.S., there have now been nine deaths from the coronavirus, as total cases in the country passes 100.

Globally, about 3.4% of reported coronavirus cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.

As of this morning, there are over 90,000 confirmed cases globally and more than 3,000 deaths.
