The House has Voted to Impeach President Trump

The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump.

On Article I of the Articles of Impeachment, accusing the President of “Abuse of Power”, the House voted to impeach President Trump with a vote of 230-197. All but two Democrats voted for impeachment (with Representative Tulsi Gabbard voting “present”) and all Republicans voted against. On Article II of the Articles of Impeachment, accusing the President of “Obstruction of Congress”, the House voted to impeach President Trump with a vote of 229-198. All but three Democrats voted for impeachment (with Representative Tulsi Gabbard voting “present”) and all Republicans voted against.

With today’s vote, the United States Senate will next hold a trial to determine whether or not President Trump will remain in office.
