U.S. to ‘Ensure’ Veterans get $1,200 Stimulus Checks Regardless if they File Tax Returns

The U.S. says is it is working “to ensure” Veterans will receive their $1,200 Economic Impact Payments, as authorized by the CARES Act, “automatically and without additional paperwork.”

Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin added that the stimulus checls “will be issued automatically to our Veterans and their families [even if they] did not file tax returns for 2018 or 2019”.
