Tax Day Postponed til July 15

U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin announced today the government is moving Tax Day from April 15 to July 15.

“All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties”, the Treasury Secretary tweeted.

The Treasury Department had also recently announced the deferral of tax payments up to $1 million as an individual, which would remain interest free and penalty free for 90 days.
