In the past month, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers have seized more than 206,000 counterfeit Pokemon action figures.

The shipments were detained in Harrisburg, PA, and arrived from Hong Kong.

“The Pokemon slogan is ‘Gotta catch ‘em all’’ and Customs and Border Protection officers are trying to do just that to these counterfeit and potentially dangerous toys,” said Casey Durst, CBP’s Director of Field Operations in Baltimore.

If the counterfeit toys had been real, the estimated retail price (MSRP) would be $1.5 billion.
