A terrorist attack in Syria has killed “dozens of people”, with reports of at least 40 people killed and another 47 wounded.

Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Turkey, blamed the attack on YPG, a Kurdish-militia in Syria. However, the YPG has not yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

The attack occurred as people in Afrin, Syria were out food shopping, preparing to break the Ramadan fast, which began less than a week ago.
