20 Indian soldiers have been killed, along with reports of 43 Chinese soldiers have been killed in a dispute at the China-India border.

According to a Chinese People’s Liberation Army Colonel, the Indian military crossed the China-India border, known as the Line of Actual Control, and “launched provocative attacks, which caused violent physical clashes between the two sides and casualties”.

India has disputed this claim. An India Parliament member added that the “borders of India will remain intact” as the “army is fully equipped” to defend it.

The two countries have “disengaged” for now.
